Triton's Farm ~ What we grow

Market Days

2009- We will be at the Ellensburg farmer's market on Saturdays selling lots of eggs..

The chickens are laying good as are the ducks, geese and turkeys.

The orchard is growing good. The blueberries, raspberries and currants are all growing well, I don't know how the harvest will be this year. It's starting out with a cold spring.

We are still concentraiting mostly on the animals. A lot of the crops this year will be to feed the animals. We are trying to find a way to cut down on the feed bill by growing our own.

I am still learning how to grow with the strong winds we get here. I knew about the winds before we moved here since I lived in the area growing up and went to Central Washington University, but you never realize how if affects growing things till you spend all day outside planting while the dust is blowing in your face.
