Triton's Farm ~ Chickens on the farm

We have a bunch of chickens.

Our chickens free range most of the day. At night time everyone goes in their houses to protect them from predators. So far this has worked. We are constantly building new housing and working to improve our setup.

Some of the breeds we have are:

• Cuckoo Maran
• Welsummer
• Orpingtons
• Egyptian Fayumi
• Jersey Giants
• Ameracaunas
• Deleware
• Old English Game Fighting Bantams (not so tough, very friendly chickens)
• Misc other breeds

We are working on finding just a few breeds that produce good eggs from reliable sources. So the number of chickens we raise will be shortend to just a few breeds.
